After 10 years of running a successful city centre Bistro, Bistro Guy of York is now on the road with their wonderful vintage mobile woodfire pizzas trailer. All pizzas are hand-stretched homemade sourdough bases, using the finest high-quality ingredients for toppings.
The trailers are a great feature at any private event be it big or small and we work the menu around you to suit your event. Lots of added extras can be added from salads to desserts and more! Bistro Guy is also out and about in the local Yorkshire villages and is always looking for new locations, so if you are looking for a private event be it a birthday party or a wedding do or everything in between and you would like to see our trailer come to your village once a month please get in touch.
Throughout 2020 during the pandemic Bistro Guy did numerous charity events, such as donating over 300 pizza to staff at York teaching Hospital as well as cooking homemade meals for the vulnerable people in the surrounding villages.
Bistro Guy are proud that during the month of December they donated £1 for every pizza sold and split the total which came to £625 between two wonderful local charities, the mental health charity York MIND and the homelessness charity SASH Preventing Youth Homelessness Together.
The hospitality industry has been particularly hit by the pandemic but we would like to personally thank you for your support and encouragement during 2020. To go from having a restaurant to now having a mobile pizza trailer which visits York and surrounding areas 5 nights of the week is down to our customers support we are very grateful.
